WASHING MACHINE FOR BOTTLES WITH CONTINUOUS MOVEMENT CORIMA MOD. WRB8
Continuous rotary washing machine for bottles for the pharmaceutical industry. It has an electrical cabinet with control system made of stainless steel. The pharmaceutical container is completely immersed in a temperature-controlled ultrasonic tank. All containers are treated individually. The washing/blowing needles can adjust their stroke inside each container to cover the entire surface. The mechanical movements of the washing machine in question are protected against the infiltration of liquids, as they are located inside the machine. The speed of the machine is programmable. The rigid parts are in contact with stainless steel washing fluids, while the flexible parts are made of silicone rubber; connections for fluids type Triclamp. Quick and easy format change. The inspection machine consists of few core modules as indicateci in the illustration below. The modules are named according to the individuai functionality as stated, and will be described in more details in the follow sections:

The inspection machine is designed with clear glass/polycarbonate shields and doors, protecting the operators from moving parts of the equipment. Lighting will be placed inside the equipment, enabling the personnel to observe and inspect the functionality of the equipment and to maintain the equipment.
The doors and shields will be locked when the machine is in operation.
The maximum noise level during operation is 75 dB(A) measured at a distance of one metre from the machine in a height of 1,6 metre above floor level.
The inspection machine is designed to operate with the ampoules stated below which must comply with ISO 9187. The inspection capacity of the mach i ne at a load of >90% depends of the size of the ampoules.
The inspection machine may be configured to inspect one size of produci at a time.
Shifting between the different ampoules is possible by replacing a number of fermat parts and adjust the configuration of the inspection machine.
The detection rate of the inspection machine is independent of the ampoule sizes.

This machine operates on the high frequency principle and is designed to inspect filled ampoules for leak tightness.

The machine is offered complete with format parts for ampoules 1 - 2 and 5 ml ampoules.
Ampoules are manually fed to the machine from trays or arrive from subsequent machines. They are standing upright and and travel on an infeed conveyor into a star wheel which separates and indexes them into the worm screw. They are turned in a horizontal position and are then vibrated for even distribution of the substances.
The ampoules are rotated and indexed through the various inspection stations. They are checked in four different stations for leak tightness (neck, body, bottom and spear) and any faulty ampoules are diverted from the accepted “good” ampoules.
After checking, the Ampoules are placed in a vertical position. Both the good and rejected Ampoules can be collected from two separate outfeed star wheels. Leaky ampoules are discharged into a reject outlet. There are opto-electric sensors for reject verification purposes. If ampoules are sorted wrongly, the machine stops.
