The Marchesini Tonazzi Poly 900 is an automatic machine with intermittent movements and vertical case transportation.
Case packer suitable for opening and filling cases with interlocking closure with three equal or alternating flaps, inserting a product fed manually directly into the open case, closing it and unloading it at the exit.
Main characteristics
The design of the machine ensures high quality production, based on proven experience in this field. It has the advantage of requiring minimum space while offering an adequate structure and safe performance. It is manufactured in compliance with safety standards and the machines are supplied with the CE mark.
Product feeding
The product is fed manually, directly into the vertically positioned tray with all the upper flaps open. Product feed height from 920 to 1120 mm, depending on the length of the tray.
Tray packaging section
• Motorized carton magazine, complete with minimum load sensor, at a height of approx. 750-870 and a length of 880 mm. Simplified adjustment of the magazine guides with millimeter scales;
• Unloading of the packaged cartons at a height of approx. 870 mm;
• The box is picked up from the magazine by means of a dual action system: pneumatically with suction cups and mechanically with an opening arm. Check that the box has been picked up from the magazine;
• After removal from the magazine, the carton is inserted directly between the transport teeth of the Cartoning Machine, which keeps the carton in perfect shape and transports it to the various work stations;
• In the first operation, the carton is closed at the bottom. It remains open at the top to allow the product to be inserted. The carton is then automatically closed at the top as well;
• A sensor detects the presence of the box in the magazine and if it is missing the machine stops;
• A control sensor detects the presence of the box to count the number of pieces produced;
• A further control detects the presence of the product, and if it is missing the machine stops to avoid the packaging of empty boxes;
• Automatic unloading of closed boxes, with ejector, onto an output table equipped with a sensor to check their correct position, which avoids jams in the box transport chain of the machine.

Inspection Machine Seidenader V90-AVSB for prefilled syringes
From the infeed system, the product is conveyed through the inspection cabin on a continuously or intermittently moving transport system, consisting of a dual chain system fitted with white or black rollers. Each roller rotates on two precision roller bearing assemblies. The rollers are supported between dual conveyor chains.
Several lighting systems are available on option: A white light source provides diffused illumination from behind the rollers to allow inspection against both a white background (light source) and a black background (the rollers) or vice versa to meet GMP regulations.
Alternatively, highly concentrated halogen light can be shot through the bottom or shoulder of the containers, to reach the "Tyndall Effect". In addition to these lighting systems, mirrors, a magnifying lens and polarisation filters are available to optimize the inspection and to support the operator.
The product passes through the inspection cabin in front of the operator. This arrangement permits the inspection of the entire outer surface of the product.
The rejected product is easily removed either by hand or by an automatic reject system operated by infrared sensors.
The product is fed out of the inspection cabin, brought into upright position and is then transferred into various discharge systems: accumulation tables or trays.

The test instrument is a small and lightweight portable unit.
The instrument provides the ability to perform either a forward flow test, bubble point test. Combined forward flow and bubble point test, water intrusion testo or leak test. The filter can be tested in place or of-line and its performance capacity remains unaffected by the test when suitable protocols are followed.
The instrument provides direct flow measurement of the filter under test. This measurement is independent of upstream volume over a wide range. Extensive internal Self test feature and use of high precision components virtually eliminate the possibility of significant measurement errors. The instrument is connected upstream of the filter under stress. The measurements are, therefore non-invasive of the downstream side of the filter and risk of contamination is eleimnated.t his is particularly important in installations where the filter has been sterilized before integrity testing.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The design of STILMAS PSG-DTS pure steam generators is based on thermosiphon technology. The system consists of two parallel bodies: the heat exchanger and the evaporator/decontamination column. The feed water is fed to the decontamination column (main body) while the industrial steam is fed to the support side of the heat exchanger. The industrial steam heats the feed water to the evaporation temperature, creating a strong circulation inside the two bodies.
The steam develops in the evaporator where its low speed and the height of the decontamination column eliminate any possible entrainment of impure water droplets. A pressure transducer, installed in the evaporator, controls the entry of industrial steam into the heat exchanger, thus ensuring a constant pressure of the pure steam produced. The feed water flow is controlled by a level transmitter installed in the evaporator.
REDUCTION OF NON-CONDENSABLE GASES (NCG)
Stilmas has developed two alternative solutions to meet the NCG requirements of EN 285.
The first solution consists of an intermediate tank in which the preheated feed water is sprayed, separating the liquid from the gas, which is then extracted to the outside.
This solution can adapt any clean steam generator to enable the NCG content to be achieved.
The second solution, Stilmas Gasbuster®, is integrated into the PSG. The degassing process occurs when the preheated feed water enters the decontamination column and is sprayed, separating the liquid from the gas, which is then extracted by a small flow of clean steam.
With both solutions, Stilmas PSG can provide NCG contents much lower than those required by international standards.
The plant is made entirely of AISI 316L stainless steel. The standard finish of the active surface is smooth and flush with passivation; mechanical or electrochemical polishing can be carried out on request.
The heat exchanger is of the shell and tube type with double sheet metal construction; the tubes expand onto the plates, avoiding any welding for a totally hygienic construction and better resistance to expansion stresses.
The design and construction of the decontamination chamber, which is a completely empty column, ensure the best inspection capability. The absence of welds in this area drastically reduces the risk of corrosion, ensuring a very long service life for the equipment.
The overall design of the construction, together with the decontamination process described, ensures a very compact design and requires extremely limited space for maintenance.
