Capping machine for vials Romaco Model CSP12 From 2013

CSP capping machines offer the latest state-of-the-art technology for vials sealing after they are filled with injectable drugs. They are suitable to handle various types of caps and have been developed respecting the most recent regulations associated with aseptic processing. 

Fixed blade 

Each vial entering the machine is locked in place by a bottom lifting and rotating plate and a fixed idle top plate; during the rotation a stationary side blade bends the cap bottom, sealing the vial.

Some packaging materials require 100% integrity testing according to Annex 1 of the EU GMP guidelines. The Wilcomat Leak Detector is a high-speed inspection system, used to meet these requirements and not to reduce production. WILCOMAT is a Leak Detector for a wide range of products such as vials, ampoules, syringes, blisters and much more.

The LFC method provides a highly sensitive 100% leak test at high production speeds for liquid filled and lyophilized primary packaging containers. By means of the patented force measuring system the differential force of blister cavities or bags are measured in a vacuum chamber. This method safely identifies gross or fine leaks. During the testing process, the test parameters and the test results are displayed on the display. As with other differential pressure methods, the LFC method is based on a gas exchange between the container and the test chamber. In order to test liquid filled containers, the LFC method operates at a deep vacuum level. This vacuum level allows liquids to vaporize and requires the use of custom, proprietary sensors developed by WILCO to make the precise differential pressure measurements. The LFC method is optimized to check for leaks in both the headspace as well as the liquid phase of a container.

The Marchesini Tonazzi Poly 900 is an automatic machine with intermittent movements and vertical carton transport.
A cartoner suitable for unrolling and filling cartons with even or alternating three-flap interlocking closures, inserting a manually fed product directly into the open carton, closing it and unloading it at the outlet.
Main Features
The machine's design provides for high quality output, having utilised proven experience in this field. It has the advantage of requiring a minimum of space while offering adequate structure as well as safe performance. It is manufactured in compliance with safety regulations and the machines are CE marked.
Product Feeding
The product is fed manually, directly into the case, which is vertical with all upper flaps open. Product feed height from 920 to 1120 mm, depending on carton length.
Carton section
- Motorised carton magazine, complete with minimum load sensor, at a height of approx. 750-870 mm and a length of 880 mm. Simplified adjustment of the magazine guides with millimetre scales;
- Unloading of packed cartons at a height of approx. 870 mm;
- The carton is picked up from the magazine by means of a double-action system: pneumatic with suction cups and mechanical with an opening spreader. Control of the removal of the case from the warehouse;
- After unpacking, the carton is inserted directly between the transport teeth of the cartoner, which keeps the carton in perfect shape and transports it to the various work stations;
- In first operation the cartoner is closed at the bottom. On the top it remains open to allow the introduction of the product. Then the case is automatically closed on top as well;
- A sensor detects the presence of the carton in the magazine and stops the machine if the carton is missing;
- A control sensor detects the presence of the carton for counting the produced pieces;
- A further control detects the presence of the product, and if it is missing, the machine stops to prevent the packaging of empty cartons;
- Automatic unloading of closed cartons, with ejector, onto an outlet table equipped with a sensor to check their correct position, which avoids jams in the machine's carton transport chain.

GIMAT's 4-way horizontal mixers are made of painted carbon steel or AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel with surface treatments suitable for use.
Specially ribbed sheets of adequate thickness are used to resist the stresses present during powder mixing, which takes place quickly and homogeneously thanks to the special four-way reel with four cross-flows.
These machines are designed as powder mixers but can also be used as homogenisers for powders of the same category belonging to different batches.
The direct drive with bevel gear motor and bevel wheels integrated with a torsionally flexible elastic coupling, depending on variations in load conditions, guarantees high efficiency of the entire kinematic chain and very quiet operation.
The coupling built into all models dampens vibrations and reduces the maximum shock load, creating to all intents and purposes a true shock absorber for rotary motion.
The gear motor is controlled by a vector inverter in order to allow a gradual start-up of the mixer even at full load and to adjust its rotation speed according to the filling percentage and type of mix.
