General characteristics
- An infeed system (automatic or manual), located upstream of the cartoner, deposits the product on the drawer chain. The drawer chain transports the product in an alternating motion to the area where it is inserted into the carton.
- The case, which is removed from the magazine by suction cups, is then formed by a positive movement and introduced into a transport system that will transfer it to the following stations, keeping it square.
- In the infeed station, the mechanical pusher (fitted with a safety disconnector) feeds the product into the case using a mobile channel hopper.
- The packaged carton is completed by closing the tabs as it moves to the output side.
- - The operating logic of the P91 cartoners provides for carton removal only when the correct product is present.

DEPYROGENATION TUNNEL BOSCH HQL 3240 HQL installations are ideal for the sterilisation of vials. This model is exceptional because of the low throughput in the tunnel, which is the result of the laminar hot air flow process with its high degree of efficiency. Sterilisation tunnels are used on filling lines in the pharmaceutical industry to sterilise glass containers prior to aseptic filling. These tunnels use forced air at temperatures of up to 350°C. Bosch HQL drying and sterilisation tunnels operate with unidirectional flow, with process curves of temperature progression and significantly reduced sterilisation times. They guarantee the constant precision required for validation, qualification and reliable production capability. Through a filter, make-up air is introduced into the tunnel. Inside the tunnel, the air, drawn in by fans, feeds the supply and cooling section through pre-filters and particulate air filters in separate areas of the tunnel. Using the laminar flow principle, the air flow is directed vertically into the containers. Underneath the conveyor belt, the air is directed back through a recirculation duct to the fan. The fans need fresh air for the heating section: laminar flow unit. The heating elements in the recirculation duct serve to heat the recirculation air to the preset temperature. Below the particulate air filters there are heating elements with an outlet to a temperature control and recording device. The cooling section operates with laminar flow. A fan in the cooling section exhausts the hot air under the conveyor belt. The exhaust air volume is automatically adjusted. DESCRIPTION What has allowed the PMM intermittent motion horizontal cartoner to become a significant reference in the packaging sector owes to having maintained the technical solutions which have made CAM cartoners the choice of thousands of end users worldwide, for their reliability and flexibility, without overlooking project updating in requirements. Carton erection, carried-out by means of an articulated twin blade inserted into the carton ensuring positive pre-breaking, allows low grammage board to be used even when handling square-section formats or carton with glueing and creasing imperfections. Perfect product introduction (even for products with irregular shape/ dimensions) is guaranteed by the insertion of the moveable mouthpiece inside the carton, avoiding any uncontrolled passage of product from bucket to carton. Products are also prevented from straying out of the carton by the action of the spring loaded guides which automatically close during the return stroke of the pusher. The use of closed profile cams with surface hardening treatment, guarantees the reliability of all positive driven movements during the course of time.
