FLUID BED PROCESSOR
The plant is an all-round production machine ad is suitable for:
• Fluid Bed Drying (all sorts of fluidized products)

The Fluid Bed Unit is designed to be integrated is a wall between production and technical areas and is executed to achieve the highest levels of GMO which requires a radical separation between production equipment and peripheral mechanical and electro-pneumatic equipment. In the proposed execution only the Fluid Bed Apparatus and the membrane operator panel are in the process area.

A. Drying in the fluid bed
A batch of fluidized wet materials is put into fluidization through an upward movement of heated air during which the whole surface of the particular product particles are in contact with the hot air. Each particle/granule in uniformly dried to low final moisture content. This is achieved as a result of an even temperature profile throughout the powder bed.
B. Agglomeration in the fluid bed
If a starting production product, consisting of fine powder or core sized particles has to be transformed/changed into a homogeneous rough sized granule it can also be done in a Fluid Bed. The appropriate liquid is sprayed onto product particles which are floating in the airflow, this produces an agglomeration of the particles. The adherence of particles can be achieved by etching the particle surface dissolved in spray liquid. The agglomerates formed are fixed by the drying process.
C. Coating in the fluid bed (predisposition for the future use)
If individual particles of a product require coating to modify the characteristics and/or provide a protective membrane, the process is similar to that of fluidised bed spray agglomeration. The coating media is dissolved/dispersed/suspended in an appropriate carrier liquid and sprayed onto the fluidized particles. The process can be with top spray with the latter generally used for processing dense and large particles.

The LAC group machines have the function of internally and externally washing vials with the following characteristics:

The Ima Neri is a linear washing machine for vials and bottles according to the machine working range of size .
Containers for sterile preparation are processed in a different way according to the material they are made of and the product to be filled. Tailored according to the nature of containers, the washing machine performs different washing cycles.
The use of a recycled water loop in our linear washing machines allows for an important WFI consumption saving for customers, while granting high cleaning performance and, when requested, pyrogen reductions.

DESCRIPTION
The AVC continuous motion vertical cartoner has been designed by CAM to meet the packaging requirements, at medium-high speed of products for which the arrangement into carton and the final presentation could not be guaranteed by horizontal positioning.
All movement are controlled by closed-profile cams which have been subjected to surface hardening treatment. This featyre, together with the heavy-duty structure, reduce maintenance operations and guarantee machine life for a long time.
As all CAM continuous motion cartoning machines, AVC is characterized by the exclusive carton erection system incorporating a 4-station turret, each station separately driven by closed-profile cams for carton pick-off at zero speed. This system allows for total and progressive carton pre-breaking to be carried out in a time period longer than the machine cycle.
Each carton erection station is composed oft wo suction-cup arms which, by pulling externally on the two adjacent faces of the carton, guarantee positive opening, whatever board grammage is used and even in the case of handling square-section formats.
The wide range of product feeders available cover all possible packaging requirements of the market and is particulary suitable for bottles and jars. The introduction in vertical position eliminates all problems caused by horizontal introduction when the traditional cartoners are used.
The machine is furthermore equipped with high-endurance motorized carton magazine.
CAM has recently developed and patented a new carton closure system, that grants the possibility of: carrying out format change without requiring the services of a specialized technician; eliminating fine turing time related to the closuere area; and absolute qulity consistancy of the final package.
As on all CAM machinery, the AVC is olso equipped with the Mechanical Memory system, transforming complete size-over into a series of rapid and pre-set operations, which can be carried-out unskilled personnels in less thank 10 minutes, eliminating the need for fine.tuning adjustments and allowing size change-over to coincide with actual production change-over.
